I doubt I'll be able to join you  But, a word of warning. When you start looking at 6 bedroom villas, they book FAST. Often a year in advance.
I'm so sorry you can't come. Maybe another time?

I'm afraid you're right about the larger homes booking up. Nov. is a slow time of year, but we might should at least have a good idea of how many we're going to have in the next few weeks, and be ready to make a decision after the first of the year on a villa, or even two if that is required.

You are the expert - I'll follow your lead. If you say we should at least have a good head count soon, then that's what we should do. Maybe make the deadline the last week in December? Just put me in the "yes" column!

The 3 that have been mentioned are still showing available for Halloween week; none of them show beyond 10/31 (at least not the sights I've looked at).

Have you seen Villa Paulette? $6000/wk for 12 (not sure if tax/service charge is included) - it's currently available through Nov-08.

I think we should keep an eye out and if they start "disappearing", we may want to move up our deadline.

Can you tell I'm psyched??? Its almost ticker-time

Villa Paulette looks wonderful and was on the list last year when we thought we had a larger group. The only thing I'm concerned about is the lack of view. Maybe someone has seen it and can chime in. The photos don't show much of one.

It's so much fun to start villa shopping, isn't it? :D

So far 8 "new members" have expressed an interest. Some of you are definites and a few will have to check and get back. I'm guessing we may end up with 12 to 14. Coden, we can surely plan it around the week you are already committed. There may be more who have not checked the forum lately. I thought Chrisn was interested. I haven't heard from her lately. Does anyone know of anyone else?

Wish we could rent Kenny's new digs.....heck, with the $$$$$ I've dropped on him in the past 5 years I could rent it for at least 6 months!

The Tennis Villa holds 14 peeps and the price is certainly right. Wonder what's wrong with it? Maybe someone who is leaving soon could check it out for us??

With the $$$$ you've spent on him in the last 5 years he should let you stay for free.

I only neg I can see right off the bat with Tennis Villa is that it's so low it won't have the breezes a higher villa would get which equals HOT and more bugs. But it does look nice enough and for those of us who play tennis, we could bring our raquets. Although that's the last thing on my mind while on STJ.

Does anyone care if we look at the east end? Maybe there is something a little cheaper there that is really nice. There isn't much night life in Nov. in Cruz Bay anyway and we usually fall asleep sometime after sunset. I think I'm a reverse bat.

I don't mind the East End. I also liked Ristaba and the Caribbean Villa's combo of Hibiscus and Villa Del Sol which should be very close together. Some of the pics I saw made them look almost identical.
