St. John Lover - I don't know that I would do it alone, but it all depends on your comfort level. Most likely someone else will be around. There were people (only 2 but it was early) at Salt Pond. I guess you could say to someone "If I am not back in 2 hours send in the medic". Better yet, talk someone with you into.
