non-stop flights from Boston?

Post by liamsaunt »

Hello fourm friends,

Some friends of mine are coming down to St. John in February. They are looking for a non-stop flight, and are having difficulty. I could have sworn that there are non-stops out of BOS on Saturdays. Does anyone know if this flight is a thing of the past? I've never been down in high season so am not sure of the usual flight options.

Thanks!

I just did a quick search on AA.com. The direct flight shows up 2 out of three of the weeks I tried in February. Could be it is sold out on February 16?

I also found non-stop available in February on American. I believe they start flying sometime in mid-December to April.

For Feb 3-10, the fare was showing at $325.

If they are trying to travel school vacation week, it may be sold out.

We are booked on that non-stop out of Boston in 5 weeks--- I think it doesn't happen on Wednesdays or something like that. It's been like that every winter for a long time...

Boston is one of my favorite "East Coast Cities"...I know, I know it is New England...yeah, yeah...
I lived in Gloucester for 7 years in the 1970s...what a glorious place in the Summer...ahh I can smell the New England air at Stage Fort Park, gazing across the sparkling water to the castle on the coast...then Boston- takin' "the T" to the Museam of Fine arts...yes what memories...been down south for over 20 years now but I'll always love my New England memories (the summer ones anyway)...enjoy the winter! Cheers :P
