OK, so get this............

Post by ScubaGirl »

Keith and I leave tomorrow for Key West, and then head to STT on Wed.

Early last week, we found out the couple who were going with us, (my husband's old employer, and his girlfriend) got into a huge fight, and decided they were not going to come with us. I thought, no problem, they already paid for their half of the boat, and they don't want any money back. :D

So I have a good friend, who is single, with a 13 year old son, who has just left her husband, so I invited them to come. Only problem being, her son, doesn't have a passport. So after days of jumping thru a ton of hoops, to get him a passport, it's not going to happen.

So I guess it's just me and Keith, alone on a 43 ft. boat for 7 days. We'll either have a really good time, or be ready to get a divorce when we get home  LOL

I'll report in when we get back, until then........Stay safe!

Oh Sydney! I wish I could get a ticket to STT and fill that empty space on that beautiful boat! Wow, you guys are going to have a great time! Since you won't have to worry about anyone else, you'll probably come back soooo relaxed and happy! Bon voyage!

Maybe they will make up and change their minds
but on ther other hand they could make up for now but the fighting could continue down there if there are any unresolved issues, which would make for quite the UNrelaxing trip
Good luck

Hey ScubaGirl

Why does he need a Passport?

If you are traveling into the BVI's no Passport is required if you arrive by water until Jan 2008 so it depends where you pick up the boat ie: if you are picking it up in STT and sailing into the BVI's you would be fine. If you are flying into the BVI's yes you would need a Passport. He will need a Birth Certificate and I think a SS card - not 100% on that.

Does this make sense - even though it is probably too late now :(

I'm sure you will have a fabulous time and look forward to meeting you :)
