Happy Fish

Post by Eric in NJ »

Read here awhile back about Happy Fish and was wondering where it's located? Also whoever wrote about it stated it had good sushi, is that all they serve or is it a full menu place.

It is up stairs at the Market Place. We had sushi there in August - it was very good. I wanted to go back a second time. I am not sure how extensive the menu is outside of the sushi though, maybe someone else can help on that.

John and I stopped by to check the menu here last trip. They definetely have lots of other stuff besides sushi. I remember seeing rice bowls, noodle bowls, vegetarian stuff, chicken dishes, etc. They have a pretty big menu. If I am remembering correctly, I think they have a martini bar too. Hope this helps you!

Happy Fish is definitely a great spot for sushi lovers but they also have a menu with steak, chicken and seafood dishes, the prices are very inexpensive and the sushi is so fresh it is unbelievable, the staff is incredibly welcoming and the cocktails are awesome. Definitely try the sunomono appetizer and the jackie B roll, all favorites!

Good review on Happy Fish

We are considering it for one of our nights on St. John in a couple of weeks too. I found a pretty good/thorough review of it that goes into some detail about some of the menu choice that you might want to check out. Makes it sound pretty good:

Hey Vicki thanks for the link. I've printed it out to take with us next week. Hubby loves Sushi, but not me.

Would be a good "to go" dinner to pick up and be back at the villa to watch the sunset. Oooohh...can't wait! OR lunch. Thanks for the original post.
