Just a Glimpse of the Master Plan

Post by flip-flop »

I know there are competing views about planning or not planning a bunch of stuff for one's trip. When we have a group, I tend to create a master plan/schedule. Listing EVERYTHING that is going on so people can go and do it or sit on their rear at the house in the pool. Up to them, but at least we have options.

So here's a little glimpse of the highlights from our upcoming trip. In about 48 hours we'll be getting ready to descend on STT!

Sounds good to me (a fellow master planner)

Looking forward to hearing about A Taste of St. John. That is something we would definately do, giving the opportunity.

Great schedule! One thing you may want to confirm - I thought ZoZo's was closed to the public on Monday night (our friends had their reception there in May 2006).

Have an amazing time!

Will you have to go to STT to dive with Sawyer or will they pick you up on STJ?

Sounds like an awesome plan.

I like plans and I've learned not to bummed out if I don't get done everything on the plan.

Best babysitting gig I ever got was a week in Montreal :)

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy -

Your long wait has finally come to an end. There is no more light at the end of the tunnel – as you are now at the light. The countdown is now replaced with telling the pilot, “Can this flying cigar tube go any faster!”. The liver has been surgically removed and a sponge put in it’s place. Flip Flops (the ones you wear, not you) are cleaned and packed. The most anticipated time is when the planes door is opened – and you take a deep breath of that hot humid air. You now know – you’ve arrived.

Best wishes and Godspeed – you’ve waited long enough.

Sounds like an awesome plan. We'll be taking two new families with us next summer and I'm a bit worried about becoming Julie from the Love Boat during our week. I like the idea of having all laid out for everyone to see and decide.

And, I also agree totally with FlaGeorge - you deserve this much awaited trip. Go and relax and have a blast!

They are going out of Caneel now. So both dives are from there.

I don't think you've penciled in nearly enough time for villa gravity, because I honestly could've stayed at Hale Lani for most of the week (OK, I kind of did) and been a very happy woman.

Maybe it's different with kids; maybe you have to escape.

I started to overplan, but when I got there this was the plan:
Go to the beach every day, even if it was just to stick toes in.
Lobster night at Morgan's Mango
Friday with Ivan.
