madness in coral bay!

OK, The weather is still perfect. Yesterday was pure magic. We actually got a few of our local friends,i.e. ex-pats, to take a day off work and had a great whole day at Francis, complete with grill, coolers, food, tasty beverages, guitars and players. It's amazing how rare it is for residents here to do a beach day. We warned them all when we got here that we here to be a bad influence on them. Part of why I've been doing construction work while here was to make it so our friend could take the day off without guilt.We spent from 10:00 a.m until right before sunset. Like I said a magical day!
Today will be a "JT and BT" day at Haulover/Hanson Bay
As to the "madness in Coral Bay," Island Blues was busted into Monday night and the buttheads stole the whole safe, complete with a "pot" for a dice roll game that had gotten up to a formable level. But worse then the theft, they poured booze all over the credit card machine and cash register, rendering them useless.Cops don't do anything about it. Told management at Blues that they should have had a video camera going. They wouldn't even ask the people next door if they had heard anything. Also, warning to all who bring the laptop with them,everybody is getting them ripped off. Villa breakins have happened where all they took was the laptops.
Gotta go, I hear a beach calling my name.

Too bad about Island Blues. Really too bad about he police. What is it exactly that they DO do?

I think you are right about investing in cameras. Especially for Island Blues! They've ben broken into so much in the last year or two!

JT and Betty were in the store today. In case you need a second opinion, they are definitely having a great time.
I have to say, I was extremely impressed when JT told me he actually worked while on vacation so his friends who never take a day off could go play.
HOWEVER, I will say that when I said "We never get a day off either.... When can you start?" he changed the subject.....
Hey, you can't blame me for trying.
It was fun to see them today and I was pleased that they actually came to TOWN to say hello.
