Posting Photos

Post by bayer40601 »

Obviously, the photos I have been posting are much larger than necessary. I am posting them from Photobucket. What do I need to do to reduce the image size so it does not take up so much screen and server space?

Thanks.

I use photobucket too. You can resize the image, but once you do its permanent. so, if you wanted to order prints later, you wont be able to if you have resized the image. Just a warning about that! I just post the big ones, or include a link to my bucket if I have several to share. If someone has better info on this, please let us know!

I guess my real question is, Once you have uploaded to Photobucket, can you resize the photo for posting on a forum? I'm not worried about their size on Photobucket since I have them saved on a separate hard drive.

Go to your photobucket album. above each image you should see an edit button. Click it, then click the resize button. 640x480 is an ok size.
