"I do have to say that hanging out there makes me hungry..."

This is why I only visit the Food Porn every so often. If I'm weak that day, it gets me into trouble.

I love Perogies!

Help! I'm looking for that shallot butter for a fish recipe? Do you put it on when you bake the fish or afterward?

This is the recipe that Liamsaunt sent me:

Deviled Shallot Butter

2 shallots, very finely minced
6 tbsp butter
2 tsp. dried mustard
1 tsp. hot sauce, or to taste
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
salt to taste (you may not need any)

Sauté the shallots in the butter over medium-low heat until softened but not browned. Stir in all remaining ingredients and serve over fish.

The first time she sent me the recipe, she forgot to put the dry mustard part in there so I made it minus the mustard and used green onions instead of shallots because I thought they were the same thing.

I have since tried it the right way, and I like both ways ALOT.

Put it on top of the fish after it's cooked. You will love it!!!

p.s. thanks again Liamsaunt for the recipe

Cross post with nothintolose! We don't need the recipe twice...anyway, I hope you like it.

OK, this is more "dish porn" than food porn, but my bowls from Donald Schnell came in the mail the other day, and I served soup in them last night. I really love these bowls:
