It's getting close

Post by naturegirl »

7 more days and a couple more questions, if you will:

1. We will be checking a bag and a cooler of frozen meats and such. Should we check our snorkel gear or carry it on. I'm always nervous that somehow it will disappear.

2. I know St John is pretty laid back when it comes to dress but if you are going to one of the better restaurants, would you wear your flipflops or bring a nice pair of sandals to wear. We are going to Chateaux Bordeaux for Thanksgiving, also Asolare and Stone Terrace.

What do you think?

Even though we usually check some luggage when heading to the Caribbean, we always carry-on snorkel gear and bathing suits. That way if the checked luggage gets lost we still have the essentials for vacation.

I would carry on at least your mask and snorkel. You can always rent a pair of fins, but I think it's important to keeps tabs on your mask since the right fit is so important.

Flip flops are definitely fine at all the places you listed.

Have fun! :D

The fins may have been difficult to fit in the carryon anyway. Thank LA and IE. We hope to have lots of fun. IE- Will you be at the beach bar on the 19th?
