Somebody has to go and get us a sample shopping receipt! I want to know how much they charge for their cheese, and I'd love an overview of what wines they have. That looks like a big display of yellowtail in Jeff's photo...
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

do you think that's yellowtail? I thought their label was black with yellow. yellowtail I can do without, no offense to anyone who likes it.

I am not 100% sure, MaryBeth--someone will have to go look for us!

I don't like yellowtail either, but I bet there are some other yummy options in that store.

I definately see some stinky cheese in the picture and where there is stinky cheese there is fine wine. I'm sure the prices are no more than they would be in Manhattan or any other fine wine and cheese shop. Hey, in my book it's about Quality not Quantity!

If someone shops there anytime soon -- please fill us in with a peek at the grocery receipt.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not cheap... if I want something I'm buying it, but it would be nice to get a peek at the prices!!
*Another fine scatterbrained production

Charlie and I were in a wine and cheese shop in Spring Lake a few weeks ago. I made the mistake of leaving him alone at the cheese counter ;) I told him to get me some of this cheese with truffles in it. I have to say it was DELICIOUS but our cheese bill was darn close to our wine bill!!!!!!!! And we bought several bottles of wine! LOL
I think he ordered a POUND of that cheese :) The price was insane. Oh well! It was yummy!

Naturegirl,
Are you going all foody on us? The wife and I love good Gouda. It goes good with beer, wine and painkillers. It also holds up well in the sun on the boat.
Can't wait to go.

CJ- I have been a foodie and a whiney  , I mean wino   , I mean wine lover  practically all my life. Well at least until I was about 8 when we had a wonderful italian neighbor move in next door to us that cooked meals like I had never seen before in my Irish/Ukranian household. That was the food anyway the wine came later and that was just the beginning. Now I do things alot healthier but still splurge from time to time. I have an 80/20 rule. Eat well and healthy 80% of time and 20% splurge. Except on vacation when it's more like 20/80.
