and I think I will always do it from now on. What relief not to have to worry for the next two months. (My daughter has a pre-existing condition, plus parents, etc., are only getting older.) It was a lot less expensive than I feared it would be, too.

Anthony - Am I correct in thinking that this site will benefit in some way if we use CSA for insurance. Anything to help the site.

It’s well worth it. We bought trip insurance for the first time for our May trip and then we had to cancel the May trip. We got everything back. I will always buy it now.

Yes - if you buy through that link on the left there, we do receive a commission. Thanks!

I'm sorry---I called them on the phone because I wanted to make sure the pre-existing condition aspect was going to apply to us.

No problem Maryanne - I actually wanted to ask my representative about that - if someone does need to call, could they mention us somehow. Something I needed to do - thanks for reminding me!

Actually, they did ask who sent me to them, assuming the villa company. I have had villa companies recommend CSA but this particular villa company, Island Hideaways, wasn't on their list. I told them that mainly I was using them because people on the forum I use gave them high marks.

You never think you're going to need it but we put in a claim for a canceled trip in '03 when my mother-in-law became very ill.
