We are back from State Games in VA Beach. DJ brought home one bronze, one silver, a 6th place and an honorable mention. Not bad considering he had to borrow a horse he had never ridden before! Here are a couple of pics....DJ with his Coach and DJ with his medals and DJ on "Joe"

What a proud Mom you must be! He looks so handsome up on that horse. Those medals should be hung out prominently for all to see. Way to go DJ and DJ's MOM!!

What great pictures! My daughter is a horse NUT (OK, she got it from me
) and just this morning asked when she could resume her riding lessons.
Horses and riding are great -- so good for a kid's confidence, and such wonderful animals. I'm happy for your son -- he did himself proud!

WOO HOO!!! Nice work, DJ!
I'm totally jealous of his ability to keep his heels down... something I've not been able to do. He looks really great up there.
