TS Noel - St John - Saint John

Post by ScubaGirl »

We are currently being pounded by the same storm, that was in the Islands a week ago. The storm is due to make land fall, right in Saint John. 70 mm or
3 inches of rain and winds of 130KM or 70 MPH.
It's pretty crazy now and they say the worst is still to come, in about 5 hours. If we have power in the morning, I'll let you know how we made out.

3 weeks from today we leave for the Islands. Man I can't wait!

Be safe!

It rained all day today in the Boston area, but the wind/rain wasn't as bad as they had predicted - at least not so far (knock on wood).

Take care Scubagirl - better weather soon come :)

We survived fine. Power did go out for a short time, but we didn't get it nearly as bad as they were predicting. St. Stephen, on the Maine/NB border, got it the worst in NB, in fact some people still don't have power.
In NS, Halifax got hit very hard, losts of power out and lots of trees up rooted.
Survived another one!!!!!

It's so weird to watch a storm travel up the coast from STJ, USVI to STJ, NB! Glad you're ok up there!! :D
