FF was asking what "island fancy" was.

This description isn't exactly in Emily Post and Googling yielded minimal results.

Can someone elaborate on this dressing/attire classification?

For men, usually (at "Flavours" anyway) they wear long pants/kakhi's with a nice shirt - have seen Tommy Bahama type short sleeved silk, to long sleeved "tropical". No shorts

For ladies they tend to "dress" - I have seen sequins but not many - LBD's, to island tropical silk prints, but not evening formal (ie long ballgown prom type) but usually some type of heel - no flip flops.

But having said that, you will see everything there - don't worry :)

Let me know if you need more info

There is an article in this week's St. John Tradewinds all about Flavors, including where the money for this year's fundraiser will go and where you can get tickets. I imagine it'll be put online at some point today, www.stjohnnews.com.
It's a really fun event, and always for a great cause.
