Server/site migration news

No one (except maybe RickG) probably cares but we are migrating to a new server - the exact switch time has not been determined yet, but hopefully this weekend at some point. There will be a least a 5 minute window when we change the IP address that a post here may go missing... that should be the worst of it.

Unfortunately the classified system (which is underutilized anyway) does not look like it is going to make the transition. This was some freeware and the developer is AWOL and I just can't get it running on Apache 2...

Rollback plan???

I think it is going to go off fine for Virgin-Islands-On-Line.com - I have a copy of the site on the new machine in a test environment, with the forum DB loaded and it is working fine. That was my biggest concern! The issues are going to be with the other sites and the content management software I use...
