Just in case you non-country music fans haven't heard....Kenny Chesney won Entertainer of the Year Award last night on the CMA's, for the 2nd year in a row.
He appears to be a very gracious, and down to earth guy, commenting on the great relationship he has with his fans!
It wasn't just you and your sound system, Allan. Whomever was in control of the sound system was having a lot of trouble! The mix was all wrong, the equalizer was non existant, talk about standing out in front of a crowd and singing naked!!
I noticed it really sounding awful on the Brooks, Dunn, Crowe, Gill song, "Building Bridges". The harmony was drowning out the melody, I couldn't even hear Vince until the very last.
i would say they need to change venues or sound guys next time.
Kenny didn't win entertainer of the year last year at the CMA's, he won Entertainer of the year for the past two in the Academy of Country Music Awards.
I only watched off and on, but I caught Kenny and Faith and a few other people, and you're right! The sound was awful...that may be why I didn't stick around for the whole show. The last thing I heard was "Sara Evans will be up next, right after these words from our sponsor..." The next thing I knew, I was waking up to the 11:00 news! LOL!
Well, I'm glad to hear the Sound was off because I Never watch the CMA awards and last night I thought I would and I finally had to turned it off because I said
Non of these people can sing a lick, Especially Kenny Chesney - I couldn't hear him!!
