Very nice! I esepcially like the storm photo. Are you using photoshop or something else to get those colors?

I too would like to know if you are shooting with special filters or did color enhancements in Photoshop. The colors are amazing and almost look too good to be real. People suggested I should enter a photo contest - WOW that was before we all saw your pictures.

You all are too kind! :oops:

No, they are not HDR, although I love HDR and just bought a new tripod (in st thomas) to start doing some HDR.

My photos are edited in Adobe Lightroom. I shoot in RAW format, so I need to make adjustments on everything. The only thing I used photoshop for was to resize. Ummm..i bought a UV and Polarizer filter for my 50mm during the trip, so some have that. The 10-22 lens has a UV filter.

I really like Adobe lightroom and there are tons of free presets on the web to help you tweak your images.

HDR? Is that High Density Resolution, or what? I feel so ignorant! :lol:

HDR = High Dynamic Range

Tons of it on Flickr

Some of it really good, others too un-natural to me.

California Girl - I am ignorant right there with you. It's no secret that I have ZERO technical knowledge. My camera is smarter than I am. Now at least I have a little. Thanks, JMQ for the links.

And thanks, Meleemel, for the photos. Wonderful!

Hope they hired you to do the wedding photos!!! If so they got lucky. exellent photos...

Also, when did Skinny Legs get menus? I've been hearing all kinds of rumors about improvements: roof, menus, hand held CC readers-- what's next? French Fries???

Any of you Skinny's regulars will know what I mean....

That is a cute photo of Moe and Doug (may he RIP).
It's going to be hard to be there this year and not have a laugh with Doug!

I thought french fries were added a few months ago and people were all in a lather about it or something. also they added something at the same time. credit card swipers or something like that? Oh or maybe I'm ALL WRONG!
