Post by flip-flop »

According to USPS.com my 22 lb priority mail package arrived.

Your item was delivered at 9:41 AM on October 23, 2007 in ST JOHN, VI 00830.

I mailed it on Friday, October 19th.

I am impressed.

I'd be happy to! I am thinking its beginner's luck. I do think it will be the best $28 I've spent.

Wow! Now I'm really convinced that mine (mailed two weeks ago) is floating somewhere in the Atlantic!

FF and sunlover -did you do signature confirmation or verify delivery on your packages?

On the recommendation of Christy's, I did delivery confirmation. Hopefully that means it really IS there. I suppose its possible that it is sitting at the post office but hasn't actually been delivered. I am going to check with Christy's today.

I was told to send it to a PO Box of someone that works at carefree getaways. They said that if I sent it to their office it would get laid up in ST Thomas but if I sent it directly to her po box it will get there sooner. Unfortunately, I can't get a signature for a po box.

They told me this: We recommend Express(2-3 Days) or Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation (5-7 days-not guaranteed).

I went with the priority mail with delivery confirmation. I think the confirmation was an extra buck and change. I did have a regular address to ship to though. Good luck, I hope your boxes make it!

Sunlover, is there anyone you can track your package?

Unfortunately, the usps has told me that they only can "track" a priority mail package at acceptance, arrival, and delivery. Thanks for your concern naturegirl! I've just about given up. :( At the very least, I'll serve as a reminder to all that 3 weeks is not enough time for a package to get there!

Don't give up - I've had a package (Priority) take alot more time than my "normal" 7-10 days (I think it was about 16 days but the longest was 6 WEEKS  ) - it will get here - eventually
