Does anybody know if you can ship flammable or substances OFF, nail polish remover priority mail? Can you take it in checked luggage?

I just shipped some suntan lotion, shampoo, etc. via priority mail (in a flat rate box). Although I sent it on Friday the 12th, it hasn't arrived yet (fingers crossed). I'm getting a little worried... Anyway, I checked into this, and I believe that sending liquids are ok, but flammable aerosols, perfume, etc., are not. When they asked me what was in the box, I told them "nonhazardous toiletries." Incidentally, it only cost about $11 with insurance and delivery confirmation. It was about 10 lbs.

I'm wondering now if something happened in transit? I've had great success in the past sending boxes (everything arriving within 3-5 days).

Did you send it to the villa management company or to someone's direct address. Sometimes that can make a difference.
