Waterlemon 1/2 Day Boat Trip

Post by flip-flop »

Is this possible? I have 2 half days to commit (CHILD FREE) to a snorkeling/boat things. We plan to probably rent a dinghy one day. I was thinking a 1/2 day charter around STJ would be fun for the other day.

Has anyone done this? Do any captions do 1/2 days around STJ?

HELP.

Hi Flip:

If your going to rent a dingy one day then you can go to Waterlemon yourself. We always rent out of Cruz Bay and go out to Walterlemon first. We then make our way back going from beach to beach. This is always one of our favorite days

Really! Wow, two for one! For some reason I had it in my head it was further out/away.

Maybe we'll do that via dinghy and then do a sunset cruise.

Decisions, decisons!

Flip, if you rent a dinghy from the North Shore, they let you go as far as Waterlemon. We did a 1/2 day last Summer, hit Waterlemon first (which is what they recommend), then hit your beaches on the way back. We had so much fun (minus the episode), we're doing a full day this coming Summer!

If I remember right, it took us about 45 minutes to get out to Waterlemon from the little blue cupboard at The Beach Bar.

Chris, I remember your TR from the TA forum. You are shyenick, right? What was it that happened (the episode)? I remember chuckling, but can't think of what it was now. Hubby was "Honey" and you had your two kids with you. Lizard Boy and somewhat high maintenance teen daughter. I say that in a kidding way. At any rate, I LOVED your report and looked forward to each installment. Now, what was that episode????
Going "home" again October 26th!

Now, what was that episode???? Oh gosh, I don't want to start a riot but the fiasco started when we clipped the reef and the ended with the circus that followed.
Thanks for the compliment!

Chrisn - I had to go back and find your trip report about your circus experience, and it cracked me up. The other day, I told my soon-to-be 15-year-old high maintenance daughter that we were going to rent a dinghy next trip. With a horrified, rolling of the eyes expression, she informed me she won't participate in that excursion because she knows we can't operate a dinghy. I think I'll let her read your post. That should reassure her.

All her reports are most entertaining :!: (Hope you don't mind, chrisn.)

I don't mind at all especially since I myself like to go back and reminisce (sp?) from time to time. Besides that, I think most if not all of the mean & nasty people moved on to more furtile pastures. Unfortunately, some of the old board cool peeps did too. Where are you guys???
