La Mer?

Has anyone stayed at La Mer, the four bedroom on Bourdeaux? I'm close to booking Great Turtle Villa, but Laura from Destination St. John just showed me this house. It seems incredible, and she says the views are to die for, but the photos of the inside of the house are a bit grainy. The description of it makes it sound great though. Any feedback?

I understand the house has very upscale furnishings and the views are wonderful, however the pool is very small and it's a "wally pool". That would be the only downside.
I do think it is in a better spot and has better views than the other villa you mentioned, if that is the one in Fish Bay.

I've had my eye on La Mer for some time now. It looks great, but I thought it was a little odd that they don't have any pictures of the pool posted. It made me guess that it must be small. Good to know it's a Wally pool, but I'd still like to see a picture!

So sorry. I am always getting the "Turtle Villas" mixed up.
Now that I know "Great Turtle" is in Carolina, and seems to have some pretty dramatic views, I guess it is "Green Turtle" that overlooks Fish Bay. I was just never impressed with either the views that I see on the website or the bedroom setup in that villa.
I know someone from the forum stayed at Green Turtle in the past, so maybe they have additional comments about that one.

The villa on the far side of Fish Bay is Sea Turtle.
So many villa names are just way too similar, aren't they?

STILL cant get my turtles straight. Guess you must think I have started hitting the rum drinks even though we have 3 weeks yet to go.
Cant wait to get to Paradise.

Aren't the names so confusing? I'm sort of down on the wally pool, for whatever reason. I like that La Mer has the upscale furnishings, but those in Great Turtle look real nice too.
