OMG!!!!!!!!!!!
They must be making a larger deck. What else could they be doing? No sane person would not replace that.

The wooden deck is being replaced with a concrete deck.
I don't think it will be any bigger since that would require a whole mess of lawyers and a year's worth of CZM hearings.
They aren't "pouring" the deck either, apparently it's a ready made, sectional product from Florida that kind of just snaps into place like a jig-saw puzzle.

That's my understanding as well.Eric on St John wrote:Not to be too picky, but my understanding is that Tim is opening a new restaurant there not moving Mojo Cafe.
Mojo will continue in some form with something new opening in the renovated Panini Beach space.
Similiar ownership, nearby, but different places.

Hummm....This is getting to be like that "telephone" game!
As reported earlier, this NEW restaurant will be called St. John Waterfront Bistro. Mojo Cafe is not affected at all.

As reported today, the deck is being replaced, not expanded.
