See below: :D :D :D

I think we'll try to stay on STJ the first night (I don't think there's a min stay at Tamarind CT), sail for 7 days/6 nights, then stay on STJ for 4 nights. 8)

Sounds like an awesome plan.

You will love sailing the islands as much as you love St. John.

happy counting!

Wow. That sounds absolutely wonderful. JEALOUS.

It is my dream to some day sail the islands for a week or two. But seeing as I have zero sailing experience, I guess it's my dream to lay on a boat as someone else sails for a week or two!

Sigh.

WOW !!! That sounds great!!!

We have a 25 ft on the lake, but it still would be great to island hop. 8)

Sasky, I've been looking at what it takes to get out on a bareboat - its not a lot. It sounds like a basic certification from ASA or US Sailing, that you can get with a 3 day class, is the minimum. I'm going to do a week long live aboard bareboat class (also known as vacation!) out of Tortola as well. Then, I'll be able to wake up on whatever STJ beach I'd like to.

Cheers, RickG

Sea-nile, I'm working on that too. Hubby still thinks I'm completely off my rocker to want to stay with "strangers" for a week (like you guys are strangers, but he doesn't follow the forum, so he wouldn't know). Imagine having two countdowns at once... 8)
