CAR RENTAL

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to get some of your thoughts on renting a car on the fly.
This is our third trip to stj and we are going to stay at Palm Terrace Condo. This is a short trip 12-1-07 thru 12-06-07 so we decided to skip the Villa.

I Know we can walk to Cruz Bay without any trouble and plan on spending most of our time around their,
but thought we may want to rent a car for one day.

Do you guys think this time of year will be a problem?

Our guess is that the more flexible you are (which day, which rental company & type of car) then the more likely you'll be able to get a last minute car to rent for the day.
