The Inn at Tamarind
We stayed at the St John Inn www.stjohninn.com for a night at the start of our trip in April this year.
All of the other places we checked, including Tamarind, had a 3 night minimum and considered it high season until the end of April,
or had nothing available.
Sarah, the owner, was very nice.
The room was clean and pleasant with attractive furnishings that seemed pretty new. The bed was very comfortable.
The room, Solomon, looked just like the photos on the website. The a/c worked great.
It does have a pool that we did not use.
It was an easy walk from the Beach Bar, up past Woody's, bear right by the (ex-)Texaco, turn right at the church, it's down the road on the left.
We stumbled home late and had no problems.
The band playing at the Beach Bar that night was staying there, too.
It's not fancy but worked perfectly for what we needed.
I would recommend it.![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
