I think I had it about 6 months ago - hubby doesn't think so though.
I had a temp of 104.5, bones that ached soooo bad I couldn't move, had no appetite at all. We called the clinic and they said there was nothing to do even if it was dengue but to go in if my temp reached 105
it was the worst I have felt in years - all good now though

I amd fairly sure that I had it. Pia, what you had is close but you did not have the hallucinations. I was told that that pretty much diagnosed it, bt who really knows.
I had thought that I had been at a full moon party on Jost
It was awful. I have never experienced anything like it. I did not get out of bed for 3 full days, not at all. I was sweating so badly that my boss came over with water and new sheets for me daily. I was ridiculously dehydrated, it was horrible.
That being said it is not that common. So, it is not something that people should worry too much about. if it is super buggy, wear bug spray.

Apparently people are talking about dengue fever lately, because this article hit the Associated Press today and I saw it in several newspapers (I have to read them for work at my job everyday.)
