Question about Chilly Billy's
Question about Chilly Billy's
Maybe one of the locals can answer this question. If you look out from Chilly Billy's towards the water, there is a concrete looking building either being built or torn down or something. At least that was the status back in June. What is that, anyone know?
Also, I can't remember what is downstairs under CB's.
Bill and I read that it's for sale and we are dreaming about what we would turn it into! Dreaming being the key word.

When we rented from Penns in June, we noticed for the first time that they have a large artist's rendering on the wall of what they were originally planning to build there (or maybe they still are, who knows?). It was going to be a two-story building that ran the length of their entire lot, with stores on the first level and apartments above it.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

I was told once that this is also the traditional west indian way of doing buildings - build only for what you can pay for at the time, then wait, save, and build more as you can afford. No loans. Not sure if that's true, but I remember the story.
I have been going to STJ for over 10 years and this has always looked like this. What's up with that?
