Six on the Beach Drink contest
How about a Tropical Foreign Extra Stout? I call this "West Indian Viagra." It really works.
Makes 12 gallons
35 pounds British Pale Ale Malt
2 pounds Caramunich Malt
2 pounds CaraAroma Malt
1.5 pounds Chocolate Malt
0.75 pounds Black Patent Malt
2 pounds Roast Barley
4.2 oz Horizon pelletized hops
Mash and boil as for a stout, ferment for 2 weeks with ale yeast, there you go! If you give Lindy some he will be your friend.
This one won the Gold in the 2004 National Homebrew Competition. http://beertown.org/events/nhc/2004_winners.html
Cheers, Rick

The Beach Bar's recipe for a BBC is really good. We made them the other night. It wouldn't be as easy to take with you to the beach as other drinks, but it would be great in the villa. Here is the recipe:
(For 1 Drink)
1.5 oz Bailey's
1 oz Light Rum
1.5 oz Coco Lopez
1/2 of a Fresh Very Ripe Banana
Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend till Smooth.

This is one of my very favorite drinks. I got turned on in St. Maarten one year. I don't know if the main component is easily found on St. John but it's worth a look see. The best thing about this drink? It's blends up to be the most gorgeous and sexy shade of purple you've ever seen! You girls would love it!
Guavaberry Colada
Ice in Blender
2 oz Sint Maarten Guavaberry Liqueur
1 oz Cream of Coconut
3 oz Pineapple Pieces or Juice
Blend well and garnish with fresh grated Nutmeg, toasted Coconut and a Pineapple Wedge.

I don't really have a clever drink recipe, although you can't ever go wrong with a good rum runner, and I'm suspecting the ingredients would be cheap there.
However, I had to post and say that I'm getting jealous reading and seeing all the clever names y'all have come up with for your groups of traveling companions.
Maybe something will just come to us while we're there...

The SIX of us have been talking and think that maybe we need something with ingredients that we can find in STJ. Not that we don't like the exotic yummy sounding concoctions, but we want to be able to find the boozes and mixers!
Maybe something that is not all booze would be good. Some of the SIX said they would be "under the table" or maybe "dancing on the table" if they drank some of those drinks"! (Not me... !)
Keep the ideas coming!
