What weather service is the best to watch

Post by VaDavid »

We will be leaving out of Charlotte Saturday and the weather does not look good for next week according to the weather channel. Who gives the best reports for the islands. Thanks.

My advice is not to sweat it. None of the tropical waves show any sign of development as of now. It looks like the weather will hold for at least the next 10 days.

It WILL rain. That's not in doubt. But to track vacation ruining severe weather, go here....

I agree with MrB. The weather services always show rain every day for STJ. It usually does rain every day...for a few minutes. Unless there is some kind of awful storm out there...you will be just fine!

Anthony now has a great site that informs you right here on this site. You can sign up for updates! Under Trip Planning, click on weather.

For current conditions on the Virgin Islands, I like this website:

Living in Florida – The National Hurricane Center is near and dear to our hearts. Here is the web site for the Puerto Rico radar that also shows the USVI (http://radar.weather.gov/ridge/radar.php?rid=jua )
