Latitude Villa
Latitude Villa
Hi everyone,
Well I was really leaning towards Splendore for our honeymoon until I found out that the company only rents Sunday to Sunday and we couldn't arrive until a Monday due to our wedding being a Sunday evening. So we'd have to pay for a night we wouldn't be there.
So considering that, Latitude is now at the top of our list. I did a search and could only find one review and it was from 2005? It looks beautiful in the pictures but I'd love to hear of any personal experiences. Anyone know anything about the level of privacy there or the roads/driveway to the villa? Or anything else about Latitude?
Thanks so much!

Haven't stayed there, but we stayed about a block away and would walk by in the morning. Its a beautiful house. Here is one review of Latitude from another forum:
We loved this villa. Waking up to the great water view each morning was perfect and we slept well each night. Walked down to the water to snorkel each day and loved being able to access the water from the villa. The mahogany details and built-ins were a nice touch. Kitchen was nicely equipped and balcony for third bedroom was great place to have coffee and breakfast. Miss that view already.

Haven't stayed there but stayed at Morningside and walked by Latitude. All paved roads, the driveway is paved - goes up but not too bad. My memory is that the entry to Latitude was very stately - blue rock columns on each side of the gate with the name on a plaque. I seem to remember that the driveway continued on up past the gate. We wanted to try to go up further but there was a couple there working hard on plantings whenever we went by so we didn't want to seem too much like lookie-loos. It's a very nice area - your neighbors include Monte Bay, Opar, Sea Cay, Rendezvous Villa, Oleander and Orchid. I love that area and would love to stay at Latitude - the only thing that would concern me if I was planning too far out would be the status of clearing out roads and any construction at Ditliff Point. Not sure how they are doing at selling off the lots ($$$$) - had heard that part of the access road has been put in. Found this on Webshots when I was looking for photos of Monte Bay for friends:

That's a little part of Morningside is in the upper left - Monte Bay is the villa with the blue roof - Latitude is out of the picture up to the left of Morningside but this might help with picturing the area.
