OK – the wife and I have decided to stay at the Bon Aire (http://www.bonaireresort.com/) on the recommendation of smthsaln. This is our kind of place – Old Florida at its best. The place looks really funky and I can see the party continuing here after we all leave the Hurricane. How much fun would that be - to sit at the Tiki bar right on the beach and continue the fun, then stumble a few feet to your room. Any body else interested – the place is cheap to stay at.

OK – this is the list I have so far

Mr. & Mrs. FlaGeorge (2)
Mr. & Mrs. Dr. Curley (2)
Mr. & Mrs. Gobucs and possibly her sister & hubby (4)
Mr. Gizzmo (1)
Mr. & Mrs. Smthsaln (2)
Mr. & Mrs. anjebear (2)
Rosi from Hollywood,FL (1)
VINow – “The Other Folks” , but we’re friendly- welcome (4)

Total so far: 18

Sounds like a plan George, we're picking up a new puppy today, so not sure if we'll spend the night, but we'll certainly hang out at the Tiki Bar for a while! The Pipeline is just down the beach from the Bon Aire, also a fun place!

Ah! Bill & Lynn - you guys have to join us at the Bon Aire. We have a little 4 legged guy too. Can you get someone to watch him over night.

Checked dog-friendly hotels on the beach, both the Don and Tradewinds allow pets, we may make it happen, I'll talk to Lyne about it!

Well – it looks like we’re going to have a nice gathering of Forum (both ours and VINow) folks for the Oct. 13th get together at the Hurricane on St. Pete Beach. As I had mentioned in an earlier post – we were going to stay at the Bon Aire. Well we called last night and they only had one room left (too big for our needs) – so Dr. Curley & wife, myself & FlaSteph have reserved rooms at the Keystone Motel (http://www.keystonemotel.com/default.htm ) right next to the Hurricane.

Fun & Sun with new found friends. Let the party begin.
