Sandcastle Cottage in White Bay

Post by AmyR »

Has anyone stayed there? Looking to start our 2 week vacation in St. John there for a night. Looks basic, but quaint. Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Amy,
Haven't stayed there but have liked the looks.
You'll probably get more response from the BVI forum.
I know I've seen reviews there.
If you do stay there, plese let us know how you like it.
Good luck.

The JVD photos in my trip report are taken from right in front of them. They did indeed look pretty basic, but my goodness, can't beat the location. Dinner is supposed to be pretty good there.

They book way in advance, but we were on a waiting list once and got called. The only thing that's weird and unpleasant about White Bay is that there are a lot of flies.

Sandcastle is a special place. No ac, outside shower, but virtually the only place to stay on one of the best beaches in the Carribean. At night they have a white tablecloth restaurant. We stayed there several nights and loved it.
