Just booked this and thought I'd let you all know in case anyone is itching for a November trip.

$274.00 from Philly in November too. I keep dropping the hints to the husband, but he doesn't seem to bite. He loves the Virgin Islands....what else can I do???

Just a quick word of advise, remember in this day of full airplanes and potential delays....it is best...if possible....to get direct flights. If you don't believe me, just ask anyone who has had the fun of sleeping in an airline terminal recently :D

Nice fare. We booked an October 27 flight on American out of Dulles in February for $318. Having paid $660 for the same ticket in some year with lower fuel prices I was pleased.

I generally book as soon as I see a fare below $400.

Direct? That's not a real option in DC. On United, maybe, if they don't cancel the flight and then send you through Chicago.

Cheers, RickG

I have not found any good (affordable in any sense of the word) direct flights from DC. I would LOVE that, but its not happening. We just usually try to aim for a LONG layover.
