331? WRONG!
CVG is Greater Cincinnati.
Actually an abbreviation for Covington.
Or as one of the local jokes goes...
You mean the Cincinnati Ohio airport that's down in Kentucky over by Indiana?

I tried to use my Alaska miles on Delta (partner miles) I called the DAY they became eligible and there were no seats at all out of Atlanta in June 08. I thought it might be because I was using partner miles, but reading everyone's comments its apparently not the case. I ended up using my Alaska miles on AA without a hitch although its 40K instead of 30K miles. Delta is just a rip advertising miles you can't use. I'm now going San Diego to Kennedy to STT. Its a bit longer flight but only one stop which is a big plus. The minus is going through Kennedy which is can be a crap shoot!
for whatever it's worth...
I have been looking at the Delta site like 47 times per day. I have found some Saturdays in June when the flight from RDU - STT is available as a Sky Saver. It looks like NOTHING is available for June/July on the return from STT - ATL (and then going on from there) as a sky saver.
So, based on that logic, I am hopeful that a sky saver could come up on the RDU-STT for July. If I have to "pay" 45K miles for the trip (sky saver there, sky choice back), I'd be more OK than having to "pay" 60K miles.
I'm hopeful that this not an entirely lost cause.
