KSea - sure you can call me Eliz; although I really go by Elizabeth to everyone but family cuz my little brother couldn't say my full name so he called me Eliz. (pronounced a liz). Whatever is fine though
I am glad your sister is doing well now. She sounds like a strong person. The storm really did show us how strong we are all down here because contrary to what the media says, the Gulf Coast is coming back.
I found it also taught me that possessions are meaningless because in a moment's time they can be washed away. That's why I took all of my photo albums and favorite pics and the rest of my car was full of stuff for my dog and two cats.

I understand Elizabeth, Sue took only her legal documents, 3 outfits and her 2 dogs when she fled MS.
When she went back to the house after the storm )months later) she found one photo of one of her dogs and a ceramic angel her daughter made in HS. The dog has since been laid to rest...and the angel sits in the room where my son sleeps when we go to visit. She is very strong, and Im so proud of her. We are blessed in mysterious ways!

Nice reports, and nice pics too, I liked the "misty" sundown pics.
Wasn't Cinnamon bay great?
Thanks for sharing, cat.

Cat & Elizabeth, great trip report and really great photos. Sounds like you guys had a really great time. BTW, what villa did you stay in (maybe I missed that part)? I thought the same thing as Bug, I so wish I had a sister to do vacations with. Actually, I've said that about alot of things. You're very lucky to have each other. Ali~

Another great installment with terrific photos!
It's great that you guys can vacation together and have such a great time! My sister is my best friend too, and we've vacationed together a few times with no hassles. In fact, we have the biggest family trip coming up in December: John and I, my parents, my sister, and her kids. Not to St. John though--to Disneyworld! We've never vacationed with all three generations before. Wish me luck, I think I am going to need it!

It is still the beginning of the trip though! We stayed through the following Friday night! THere are plenty of reports on the way but I work the next few days so I will soo how late I can stay up!
I'll try to get the next one before I go to work later today!
Hey Cat---Have loved your reports and especially the great photos---makes the report so much more interesting.
Its funny, I've always noticed a resemblance between you and "nothintolose" on various photos posted on the board in the past, but I never realized you were sisters. How fun that you can enjoy a great vacation together.
