Just back!
Hi Friends,
Arrived home at 4 a.m. today...a long travel day thanks to Hurricane Dean. We departed STJ a day early to be on the safe side and played the waiting game at the airport. Anyway, a trip report to follow soon. I met Ruth and Ron, bought Kiss of the Jumbie coffee in honor of Mary Beth, drank a Cocoa Berry shake while thinking of Vicki H and talked to Colette about the two Georges (Florida George and Jorge with a "J"). A detailed trip report is in the works.

Hey Jorge!!!
We (hubby, daughters) did an intro to SCUBA at Haulover....I am certified, but had signed up for the course prior to getting my certification. It was a good refresher. Two days later we went out with Colette again to Christmas Cove and Congo. She wanted to go to another deeper spot, but my family wasn't going to dive and it was way too deep and rough to snorkel. I'm still a bit of a chicken and didn't want to go very deep. Christmas cove was relatively shallow. I don't think we went more than 18 or 20 feet. Dove to 50 feet at Congo. Lots to see...and thankfully, healthy coral and fans. She definitely remembered you!! Jorge with a "J"!!!!!

I almost sent you a message when I returned, Mary Beth. I bought a pound of "Kiss of the Jumbie" coffee and had a cup while still on STJ. I'm a big flavored coffee fan, but wasn't happy with the way it tasted....I thought it had a fruity taste. I was going to offer you the bag but decided to give it another try at home. It tastes completely different and I really like it. I had been brewing another flavored coffee in the villa coffee maker earlier in the week...perhaps some left over residue got mixed in with it. I still think of you when I drink my morning cup!
