I am not actually going alone

Post by Xislandgirl »

I am taking Flat Stanley with me

A Co-workers son has lent me his Flat Stanley so I don't have to travel alone. I am very excited!

How fun! Post some pictures of that!
My son did that and my Mom took Stanley all over Florida, even parasailing!

So you take him along with you everywhere and basically do a trip report in his journal? Then what happens to him after that?

Our cousins daughter sent us flat stanley for her school project and we took him to Vegas with us. Then Flat Stanley wrote a letter to her 2nd grade class about his travels-- he had to censor himself QUITE A BIT!!

That's exactly what I was thinking...then I saw the nekkid guy on the beach, then I went to the BB and had wayyyyyy to many Bushwhackers, then I...see what I mean - hehehehe. I think Flat Stanly would have a great time but his teachers might not appreicate the pics

Careful, don't do anything we wouldn't do... On second thought that leaves it pretty much wide open

10 reasons Flat Stanley will be better than travelling with a real man:

1. He doesn't mind if you do all the talking.

2. He'll go shopping as long as you want to (just as long as you keep him in your purse).

3. He'll never say, "Not ANOTHER photo...."

4. He won't ask you to rub sunscreen on his back AFTER it is covered with sand and sweat.

5. He won't complain about being on the beach ALL DAY and beg to go back to the villa so he can watch TV.

6. If you ask him if your bathing suit makes you look fat, he won't actually answer.

7. He will smile at you no matter how cranky you are in the morning.

8. He won't drink any of your rum.

9. If he gets injured, all he needs is a little tape, not four hours of sympathy.

10. If he hogs the covers, you can put him in a drawer.

Trust me people, Flat Stanley LOVES St. John. Those second-graders don't need to know every little thing that he does on his Caribbean vacation.
