Good Luck!
I'll keep these ideas in mind for my future when I am in the same boat! :D

Then again, you could always go alone, take me, or plan it during the Six on the Beach week. :D

LLBL,
I went through the same thing with my hubby. However, we had just bought land and built our new house. He didn't want to spend anymore money for a while. That is when I surprised him with a trip to Hawaii for our anniversary. He loved it and was so surprised. I was a little stressed when I bought the plane tickets. If he would have known at the time what I was up to he would have had a stroke! However, I bought this Hawaiian type dress that he had been after me to buy. I kept telling him I didn't want to spend the extra money while we were making 2 house payments! Anyway I had the dress on and gave him his present. He was so happy. Building the house ourselves had been stressful and so time consuming the trip was a great way to get back in touch with "us". Had a great trip and he never complained. The worse part was I had the whole trip planned and couldn't tell him for 3 months. That was terrible! Good luck! KK

I would simply say...

"Honey, I love you and I miss our alone time. We hardly spend any time together anymore. The kids, sports, dogs, cats, etc (fill in the appropriate things) run our lives. I think we need some time for us to get back to just enjoying each other. I found a way for us to that in our favorite place. {Insert deal here}."

He will be so touched with the fact that you still want to be alone with him that he will say yes. If he says no, promise him a "really" good time EVERY night - hehehe. That will definetly work

XOXO

LLBL,
I agree with most of the suggestions above ,especially Bug's but if he truly loves the VI's like you, I don't think it will be that hard to talk him into it. That being said, as a man, it would be great for my little Beach babe to promise all the extras listed above. One tip I do have is wait until he has a really bad day at work and then ask, I sure it will sound even better to him!
Good Luck, Scott

I was just gunna come right out and say it instead of beating around the bush but I figured some GUY would take offense to my reference that men will do anything for the Booty (it is true though)!!

Promoguy - that is TOO funny! (but SO true!)

I am having the same dilemma trying to plan "the next trip", so LLBL - PLEASE let me know what works for you. In the meantime, I will scour the internet for "a deal that can't be beat".
My signature says it all :(

I have thought about presenting a "cost analysis" that shows all of the money I save by being a "low-maintenance" girl. I don't spend a lot of money on myself like make-up, hair salon appointments, manicures and pedicures and fancy clothes, etc., so with the money I save I should be able to go to STJ.
I think I have saved at least a million, don't you?
