Ok I've done NH II but I'm looking for a sail boat this time. I was wondering what everybody would recomend for a day sail it will be just 2 of us. Is there some boats that put small groups together to spread the costs out.
Tom, we had a nice time on a day sail with Captain Phil Chalker (the Wayward Sailor). His boat takes up to 6 people, but he'll let you book by the person, you don't have to pay for the whole boat if he can't fill it. It's $95/pp for a full day sail, lunch included.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
Looks like the Wayward Sailor prices have gone up. Its $105pp for a day sail USVI or $135pp for BVI. The BVI trip comes with a snack only.
For a private party of up to 6, its $630 full day USVI or $710 BVI which includes customs. They also serve beer, soda or water. Rates for children are about $10 less per. Still steep (we are poor), but about the best price Ive seen so far.
