Photo posting question...one more time
Great job StJohn Ruth. But i still can't post photos right in text. Please....one more time - HOW DO YOU DO IT?? (Stupid question number 10,000)
here is what I posted to Maryanne a week or so ago. Get your pictures uploaded to photobucket or webshots.
once you have your pictures loaded click on the photo you want to insert here. to the right of the photo you will see Share URL, URL Link. you want to copy the code that is in IMG code. In fact once you click in that box you will get a little pop up that says copied - then you paste that code in your post. You can hit preview (to the left of submit) to make sure your photo will display in your post.
Try it, if any ?'s give a shout!

Okay, dummy number 10,001 here. We just got a new camera, so I thought I would try uploading some pictures on webshots so I can post them here. That was a chore because when I click on add files, my new camera folder doesn't come up so I had to create a new folder to get them on webshots.
Then, when I click on the photo, nothing that says share link?URL comes up. I tried copying and pasting but that wouldn't work either. Am I hopeless or what?

Going "home" again October 26th!
brenda, I just pulled the photo above from webshots. I don't use that site so didn't have any of my own photos there.
I clicked on the picture in webshots and then under the picture to the right side there is a box that says "link to this picture". Under there is an option that says "post to a fourm - I copied the code in that box and pasted, as is, in to the post above.
I also changed the pixel size to 425. right under link to picture it gives you size options. it looks like default is 100 but you can change it.
Any ?'s give a shout. Let's see some photos!

This is what work for me:
1. Click it (picture) once with the right mouse button and a window will open with options on it
2. Click the option for "properties" (it will be the bottom option)
3. The Properties window will then open and in the middle of that window you will see "Addres(URL"…..
4. Highlight and copy the address there
5. go back to the post on the forum and type after the address.
6. That's it! You have to repeat these steps for every photo you want to show.
