Pictures Up At Pbase.com/promoguy101 St John 2007 Trip

Post by promoguy »

Working my way through pix from this past trip and got a bunch of them up. Got all of the carnival up and some underwater. Spent more time taking pix underwater this trip with the new housing. I'll have more posted later.

Niiiice! Great parrotfish pictures. And the Carnival parade looks just awesome - love all the little kids in their costumes & crowns! Maybe I'll have to plan the next trip to coincide with Carnival :D

Lovely!! Some of those costumes are fantastic!

I will have to say though, that my favorite pic is the 1st one, the Welcome to St. John pic. :D

Sailorgirl - I saw one at Trunk the last week of June that looked like that one. CaliforniaGirl can tell you how you know when one is around.

I would have NEVER spotted the one I saw on my own, a nice guy asked me if I wanted to see one when I was swimming back in. It camoflauged itself REALLY well. I don't know how he saw it.

Good luck.

Love the underwater shots Allan! Lost my Canon SD450 recently...replaced it with a Canon SD850si just this past week. Can't wait to try more underwater shots & compare the two. Here is my collection if you haven't already viewed them! http://www.pbase.com/jen_p/stj_underwater_2007
Great job!

Jen, your shots are very nice indeed. Something was lacking at Waterlemon this trip. Could be a result of a lot of bleached coral. Some of the best shots were from Trunk, which aren't up yet.

The octopus was at the far left of Hawksnest. Almost didn't see the guy, since he was well blended.

I'll have some others as I get around to them.

MaryBeth, glad you liked the Napa shots. That was last year and still don't have them all up. LOL
