Photos from recent trip

Post by BasUR »

We recently spent one week on St John and one week on Jost Van Dyke with our 3 children. We had a great time! I was a little worried about being on Jost for that long with our kids, but they LOVED it and want to go back next year! We had great weather, just a little bit of rain some nights. The Sahara dust was pretty bad a couple of days. It was so hazy that we could barely see the islands from our villa.

Here is a link to my pictures. I hope that it works...

Fantastic photos. What kind of camera? I'm assuming you are a professional photographer, if not, you could be. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the nice comments. We stayed at Le Chateau in Catherineburg. I used a Canon 5d and a Canon G7 with underwater housing.

BeasUR - where did you stay on Jost or is there a Catherineburg on Jost as well?

Your pictures are GREAT! I was just trying to describe a flounder I saw that my SO didn't see last night. Well, I opened your pics and there it was, can't wait till he wakes up to show him!

Good stuff! Did you stay at White Bay Villas? I'd love to hear how that went for you.

Nothintolose -- We stayed at White Bay Villas in the Plantation House on Jost. It was our 2nd time to stay at WBV and we are going back in February. I highly recommend them. They are great to work with!

Did you see Mary with her Hula Hoop while you were there? She's one of my favorites.

RickG -- Are you talking about Mary with WBV? Or is this a different Mary?
