Want to help me pack?

Post by Xislandgirl »

I leave on 8/9 at 8:00am and arrive in STJ at 4:40pm and leave on 8/13 at 4:00pm.
I have no plans except beaching and hanging at the Beach Bar.
I am not checking luggage.
I have my toiletries all set. I am a chronic over packer- what do I really need?

You really need to get your dates straight because you've already missed your vacation. Will help you pack if you let me in one of your suitcases!

Must have had too much wine with dinner. I could have sworn that you had written 7/9. Sorry!

Wow! Guess the coffee after dinner really did work.
Enjoy your trip. Jack has been on STJ since last week and the green jealousy bug is hovering on my shoulder.
He said that it has been really hot and that he has had to sleep on deck a couple of nights. Pack lightly.

I want to help! Will you have access to washer/dryer?. If I had NO w/d I'd wear shorts and a top on the plane with sandals. I'd pack 3 other shorts and tanks, 2 bathing suits, 4 undies and one extra over the shoulder boulder holder.
No extra shoes. Wear some that can get wet or sandy.
You said you had all the toiletries covered so...you are now ready to go! Wash the bathing suits out in the shower...bra too and hang to dry. That should all fit in your carry on. I would scale down an outfit, maybe two if I had a w/d. No kidding, its so casual (and hot) that this is all you need. I went for a week and took over 50lbs of clothes, etc and boy did I feel stupid! :x

Here is what I am thinking:

On the plane: Skirt and linen top with sandals ( in case I decide on sunset dinner at Zozo's one night)

2 pairs khaki shorts
2 bathing suits
1 swim cover up (doubles as a cute dress)
4 t-shirts (double as jammies, I am sharing a room with a 4 year old)
2 tanks
4 pairs undies
flip flops
