Ha.. look what we have right here in Jersey now. Maybe I will check it out when we are down on LBI next month.

Haven't gotten there yet but did see the review last year in the Press. If you try it, let me know how it is and if the fritters really do stand up to the review! Must admit that I am surprised that Rosewood hasn't gotten wind of it by now considering the "hijacking" of the name.

I was thinking the same thing. Weird, similar logo and everything. We will be down there end of Sept. so maybe we will check it out.

Their menu sates that there logo is an interpretation of the Reef bay petroglyphs. :?
They also have a menu item that say St Johns, with an S.

You've been there, Xislandgirl? I knew the couple when they had the restaurant in Avon and it was excellent but, 'tis funny, never once knew there was a St. John connection

okay, so my face is "red" ... didn't realize the menu and history was on line at their web site! Now I do!!! lol

I'll have to let my hubby know about it to give it a try - he works on LBI Wed through Sundays - if he has a chance, perhaps he'll try...I'll let ya know.

Thing is though pipanale is that you got more Philly lawyers and such in LBI then dose guys from North Jersey.
