So it's Friday night what are Y'all doing???
chrisn, my son doesnt have braces or retainers (yet) but we have been through 3 cell phones since October of 2006. One of them got dropped in Cruz Bay recently! Grrrrr. We were able to snatch it out of the water but it was too late. That insurance they pressure you to buy does NOT cover water damage of course. I would stick that retainer back in the kid's mouth. A few germs are OK every once in a while!

Kirk -- what a great way to spend Friday! I'm envious! We did an impromptu overnight trip to the city (we're suburbanites now, sigh) with the kids and bikes. Friday was a walk to Millenium Park for a free concert, Saturday was biking on the lakefront and Northerly Island. Now we're off to hear music at Ravinia, a beautiful outdoor music park.
chrisn -- what a drag about the retainer! We're in the "still checking" phase for my 10-year old. Her last appt was the day your son lost his retainer, and it looks like we have orthodontia in our future. I'll try to stay away from the BK trash!
Jorge -- the pups are adorable! My neighbor just got a chocolate lab pup that we have all fallen in love with.

Definitly the cuddly ones! I manage a Build-A-Bear and love going to work every day! It has it's challenges but the company is awesome our guests are there to have fun so it makes for a fun environment.
Chrisn, I will keep your story in mind when I get mine and be very careful!!!! It is amazing that Sea World sent them back to you! I guess that means this is a regular occurance with retainers! My 13 year old stepdaughter will definitly loose hers. She doesn't have braces yet but she looses everything else so I am preparing myself now!
