Love your trip report and photos. Thanks for sharing.

You certainly are a funny lady. Jay Leno would have a grand time with you on his show.

Well, if you didn't get to see those donkey a###, come to New York, I'll introduce you to some. (hehehehe).

Sounds like you had a fun trip any way. 8)

Your writing style is very entertaining. You must be a writer?? I'll buy your book. :D

Awesome report and your pics are wonderful. We saw lots of donkeys when we were there in December. I hope you finally did as well. Can't wait to find out!

Great report - I will read it all later (had to stop to go to a family dinner as I am in Kansas City right now on "vacation" )

Anyway, as I said, I stopped at the first part of the report and maybe you didn't mean what you said or corrected it later, but just to let everyone who maybe thinking of going to Gibney know, do not go through the white fence/gate you have to go through the iron gate as the white fence is Terri Gibney's private property and the private driveway to her home and the Gibney Beach Cottages (rental)

Looking forward to reading the rest later (if I'm sober enough  )

Kind of off topic, but it saddens me that the "Oppenheimer" lettering on the iron gate is all but gone. I always thought it was pretty cool to see that.

Hey Pia. I'm also in Kansas City. Unfortunately, I'm not on vacation for two more weeks. Let me know if you need any local information in KC for a change.

Hey Pia -

We did go through an iron gate, but it was painted white and peeling. I also saw cottages that had a white fence around them. The gate we went through did have some lettering at the very top... I *think* it was white, unless my memory is failing. Which is the correct entrance? We asked a passing cabbie and he directed us to go through the tall white (ish) iron gate.

"Wives yelling nagging comments to their husbands, children yelling to their parents, children yelling to other children. QUIT YELLING! End of that rant."

Maybe you should have pointed the weed dealers over to the yellers on the beach...

Another great trip report. Oh, and just wanted to let you know, the donkies aren't really real, it's a hoax! However, I did happen to see a bigfoot at Cinnamon late one afternoon. I would post the pic but it's a little on the blurry side. :D
