Part II: Don't the donkeys hang out in Coral Bay? (photos)
Glad everyone is enjoying! To answer a few people...
1. Indeed, I can find asses each and every day on I-285. Fortunately, I live 10 minutes from work and not one inch of my commute is spent on a major interstate.
2. California Girl's pictures of the donkeys are what really got me obsessed with finding them. She had those great shots with what looked like a fishbowl lens - one is posted under the photo competition thread, page 2. I also saw someone's photo of donkeys frolicking roadside. Who doesn't like large noses and frolicking?
3. Glad to know I'm not the only girl who hikes in a dress/cover-up. My husband had a hearty chuckle at my expense.
4. I've really got to get crackin' on Part III. Here it is, 10:37 pm and I haven't written a single word. Good things tomorrow's Friday and my boss is leaving at 12:30. Should make my afternoon pleasurable and writing possible.

Nice writing style.
Nice mongoose pic, we stuck out on those on our trip, we were lookin for 12 days, and we spent a lot of time "outdoors" too! We did see donkeys almost everyday.
Looking forward to your next report, it's good read'in! Sounds like you may finally get some ass in the next report?

Thanks Dave - quitting my day job (lawyer - boo) and becoming a writer is actually my ultimate goal. I just have to figure out the important items: how do I get started, who do I ask, how do I make contacts, how do I get paid, etc, etc. Travel writing would be a life dream for me. I enjoying practicing when I can.
I love reading your reports! The pictures are great too. We saw donkeys every single day we were at Maho in May. We'd get there about 9:00 in the morning and there they'd be.
Our biggest excitement was over a huge pig and her two little ones that were right at the side of the street one day when we were heading to the beach. Hello...we are from Missouri and see farm animals ALL the time, but a St. John pig was picture worthy! Go figure!
Can't wait to read more!
