Been back for a week; too depressed to write "I'M BAAAC

Post by LandLockedBeachLover »

We returned from the VI's a week ago  . Of course, it was a great trip! So sorry that I haven't written the obligatory "I'M BAAACK" posting yet. I think I'm in denial. I know I'm depressed. I have no other countdown. It sucks.

The only bright note is that I'm almost finished writing my trip report (be warned; it's very long), which brought back some good memories. I promise to post it next week, in 1-2 day installments. Bear with me as posting the reports are somewhat therapeutic. I can at least relive the trip again by sharing!

Thanks in advance for your consideration, and PLEASE tell me others feel similarly depressed. Misery loves company...

I read Bluwater'a on the other forum. But my heart is really on this forum

I'll be waiting for your version.

LLBL,
It is good to have you back and you are normal for being depressed. Writing it all down is fun, isn't it? It does help you relive it. I hope that you will have pictures.
You just need to plan on attending the fall 2008 women's trip. I am hoping to go again!
I can't wait to hear your reports!

AW! Thanks guys! I do have pictures, but I don't have a fancy-smancy camera for all those GREAT beach pics that perfectly capture the various shades of blue in the water. However, I do have some funny ones to make up for it!

I PROMISE. Trip report next week!

Seanile - - I thought your girls trip was THIS fall; not Fall 2008. Right? At any rate, hubby would file for divorce if I went without him. And I would be even MORE depressed then...

I'm looking forward to your report! The longer the better, if you ask me.

I was going to tell you to get in on the girls trips every fall, but you answered that question with the "hubby would divorce" comment.

Sorry your depressed. Get to planning the next one, even if it's a ways off. It always helps to have a countdown.

Welcome back LLBL!! Glad to hear that you had a wonderful time on STJ and we can't wait to read all about it. I agree that one way to get rid of the "I'm home" blues is to start planning your next trip down. Happy Planning!!

sea-nile - I like your way of thinking!! :D

LandLocked, I'm with you on the Back-to-the-Real-World-Blues. We got back some 48 hours ago and I'm still yearning for the hot sun of STJ.

I've been pacifying myself by researching tickets for our next trip...it's the only way I can cope! ;)

Take care...
