Forum Gatherings

I wondered if we've thought of having a posting on the travel calendar with forum gatherings. We will be on St. John from 7/28-8/12 and I'm beginning to get confused on different dates that have been proposed.

For us, we would certainly like to have a chance to say hello and thanks for all the ideas. This is our first trip to St. John!

So, the gatherings I know about are:

7/29 Cypressgirl, Kirk, xislandgirl,pia...more????
This is also full moon party at Ms. Lucy's. Has anyone gone to it before?

8/2 Bryon and I will be at the Beach Bar about 4:30 for our happy hour the night before our wedding (along with our 18 year old, 21 year old, 24 year old and 1 year old grandson. Everyone is welcome! I know that Bilter is coming.

Did I miss any? We do not want to miss a good party!

So I take it that there's no gathering taking place between July 17th thru the 24th? Than would be the time that we are visiting....Parafins

I won't be on island until 8/9, but am planning ti be at the Beach Bar on 8/12

im on island 8/4 thru 8/11. I think there was a gathering set up during that time. Let me go back and look in the history.

Hey August STJ travelers! Just a few weeks to go till celebrating anniversaries, weddings and happy go lucky vacationing!!
I hope our gang can meet up with you guys 8/2!!

I will need a few painkillers after aclimating my family of 4 along with 10 other family members and friends who have never been to STJ before!

We'll be on the island tbetween the 15th and the 24th of August

Sorry we'll miss you, xislandgirl. We take the ferry out the morning of 8/12 heading back to Atlanta and the cruel world! My, my, my... That Monday morning 8/13 will not be pleasant! How will I cope!

Kirk,It's too bad that i'll miss the get together but who knows maybe i'll run into you.We are leaving around noon on the 25th.It's not a total loss though,I am meeting up with Rhonda from this forum.She will be my next door neighbor

I'm glad you brought this up as I am also a little confused. I know of the gathering on July 29, but I also thought there was some kind of gathering Aug. 7, the day I arrive with the college girls.

Anyone remember that one??

yeah I was in on the 8/7 beach bar meet. There was somebody else who was going to be on island

Great idea! Every day at 4:30 island time.

We need some way to stand out in the crowd, besides looking like tourists with our cameras and sunburns. (Got that from a song somewhere)
